Cody Lampl and the Fischtown Pinguins won both of their games this past week to stay atop the DEL2 standings. The Pinguins faced off against Heilbronner Falken in game one of the week. It was a high scoring affair with the Pinguins winning 6-4. Colorado College alum Gabe Guentzel finished the game with one goal and one assist, while Cody Lampl had one assist. Here are the highlights.

Game 2 saw the Pinguins take on the EC Kassel Huskies. The Pinguins won the game 5-2 and controlled the play throughout, outshooting the Huskies 44-23. Cody was held without a point but was able to get on the scoresheet registering 16 penalty minutes in a chippy game.
