Cody Lampl assisted on the gaming winning goal as the Fischtown Pinguins needed overtime to beat the last place Heilbronner Falken. Colorado College alum, Gabe Guentzel also added to his season goal total when he tied the game at 2 midway through the second period.
The Fischtown Pinguins still hold a 6 point lead in the DEL2 standings after splitting their games this past week. The Pinguins took on EC Bad Nauheim on Friday night in a game that also featured former CC Tiger captain Nick Dineen.
