Colorado College Alum Joey Crabb and the Hartford Wolfpack were swept out of the AHL playoffs last night losing 3-1 to the Manchester Monarchs in the Calder Cup Easter Conference Finals.
This series was a roller coaster from start to finish with the South Carolina Stingrays taking a 3-0 series lead only to have the Toledo Walleye climb all the way back to force game 7. It was only fitting that the series would be decided in OT.
What is not to love about playoff hockey. After falling behind 0-3 in the ECHL Kelly Cup Eastern Conference Finals and facing two must win road games to keep their historic season alive, the Toledo Walleye have climbed all the way back to force a game 7.
After twice avoiding elimination in South Carolina, the Toledo Walleye returned home to a nice reception from their fans.
This Tampa Bay, New York Rangers series has been awesome so far. Love all the behind the scenes and in game action courtesy of NHL live wire. The amount of goal scoring that has been going on should make for another exciting game tonight.
