Located in Linz Austria, the Black Wings have built a reputation as being one of the stronger and most consistent teams in the EBEL. They won the EBEL championship in 2012 and have reached the EBEL semifinals in each of the last three seasons.
It was a busy weekend of hockey. The Colorado Rampage were hosting a showcase tournament this past weekend for some of the top U16 and U18 teams in the country. The Showcase was split between the Colorado Sports Center in Monument and the United States Air Force Academy.
